Condo Before & After Pictures

The Linderhof Condo was such a labor of love. We are (still!) so excited to be able to have and share our space in the White Mountains, and are thankful we were able to do so much of the work ourselves with the help of friends. When we first saw the condo it was very vintage and needed a lot of repairs, but we were excited for the opportunity to have something so special up North, so the price point seemed more important to us than the workload.

We spent the better part of our 2018 summer repairing and renovating the condo ourselves. Towards the end of the summer, we were making the 2.5 hour drive each way every weekend, with Erick sometimes going twice a week when his schedule allowed. It was tiring, but now that it’s put together it really seems worth it! Check out some before and after pictures — hopefully you’re as stunned as we are relieved!

We were able to update the kitchen with new lighting, new appliances and a great deal on a granite countertop. We updated the cabinets by removing the hardware!

Painting the wainscoting and all the walls white helped to brighten up the whole unit!

The bathroom needed a lot of help. This was our final, and likely most challenging, project. Erick did an amazing job of adding the wooden paneling to the walls and even learned to tile the floors — so proud of him!

White walls and new appliances make everything look so much brighter.

Erick and I the day we closed and got the keys. The condo came with all this great vintage furniture (jk!) and we tried to lighten and modernize it by picking a neutral gray palate for the condo.

I’ll also be updating the blog with a few more posts with specific projects we did and more photos! Let me know what you think, we’re so excited this all worked out and we were able to make our ideas a reality on our first renovation!
